Yeah, that's been in the news for over a year. Ford and GM are going to put their technologies together. Hopefully Ford will do the engineering and let GM stick to just building the things.

 

Look at that! Chevrolet finally has ponied up and called Ford to make a transmission that might hold up better than anything they could come up with on their own!

That actually looks really cool, too bad it's only going to be in FWD cars.

 

Who says we can't mount a mod motor up to that 6 speed...and just drop the thing into the trunk . Not what they would intend...but cool enough hehe.

I hope they're going to let it be close-ratio and not some triple-overdrive crapper.
