Antenna Replace
Help...I've got a 72 F250 with one of thoses bulky air conditioners under the dash on the passanger side. I need to replace the radio antenna and can't figure out how to get to it. Anyone know? Please don't tell me I have to take that air conditioner out.

Does the A/C go up the dash in behind the glove box? I don't have A/C so it was pretty easy for me to remove the glovebox liner and acess it that way.
Can you reuse the antenna cable from the old antenna and attach it to a new antenna?

Yeh, it does go up under the dash because the glove box is about an inch and a half deep. The wiring to the antenna is still good. It's just that the antenna itself is broken off.
