I second that on the 9005's, they are great ! And I found some on sale at Autozone for 10 bucks each.

 

So the 9005's fit the fog light for sure?

 

Yup, it will fit for sure but....u need to break very small tap off thats it.. you will understand when you tryin to plug it in.

I found an ebay store selling 9007s for 04 f150s. I emailed him to tell him my 04 had 9008s .He said he hadn't heard of a 9008. Now his ebay store is gone. Couldn't put up with all of the returned bulbs ill bet.

 

I saw where some say use 9005 for fog lights. Since 9006 are low beam

would they work as well? Are the 9005s too bright?

 

Just took a look at the 05 Mustang and Superduty owners manual at www.motorcraftservice.com. It looks like they are using the 9008 headlamp bulb now too. Maybe with more vehicles using the bulbs, other manufacturers will start making replacements. Depending on patents.
