Yes there is a little gray plug close to your distributor, unplug it,then set your timing to 10deg before tdc.If you need me to go into greater detail just shout.

yes aliitle more detail please, I know about the spout but where do you physically set the accesory shaft/sprocket when doing timing belt change out to get the initial base timing set after that the computer does the rest??.
Also have some codes for you

223:dual plug inhibit_ what's this mean?
224:IDM input?

Thanks

ok,first the aux shaft does not need to be timed, and your IDM is Ignition diag monitor, and both of those codes could be related to your crank sensor, which leads me to more questions, did it the old belt break,is this a no start? And sorry it took so long to get back to ya,I have kids and get(but dad i need it for homework).

no breaks, but belt is worn out. it does start but is rough.the only info i could find seemed to indicate primary ign so maybe it is related to the crank sensor. thanx for all the input tho.
PS i know how the parenting thing goes myself!
