Unhappy Small rant...

Gas is outrageous, and I be po, so I filled up my tank with 87 octane and turned the chip off. I get about 3 or 4 extra mpg's with the chip off using 87 octane than with the chip on using 93 octane. Grrrrrr... oh well, if I ever go on a road trip, I'll know what to do. Anyways, with that out of the way.....I miss my chip!!!!

Most gas around here for 93 octane is up to 2.08 99/10. But if I look hard enough, I can still find Citco's for 189.00 for 93. It's amazing how much the prices vary. I can't turn my chip off, if i do, my truck will go backwards

I try to take the bike (43 mpg) to commute as much as possible. I get to work in half the time anyways.

Yea, I'd love to get a bike just for that reason. If I had the mula, I'd buy some kind of import looking bike even if it's just to get from A to B. I love 'em.

Well, if your not so concerned and wrapped up in the whole "Status" thing with certain motorcycle communities, it really doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride. It's all fun regardless of what your on. Once your moving, you never really look down at your bike to admire it, your too busy watching the road and avoiding getting pile drived by cars. You can probably pick up a used Honda Shadow in great condition for 2500.00. Check out some on www.cycletrader.com

Plus, you can't do this on a cruiser.
