Hendersonville, here. Just North of Nashville. Frequently in Mt Juliet, Hermitage, & Downtown Nashville. Sounds like a lot of you are from M'boro and areas east of there. Maybe we could do like the 55-57 bunch my brother is in, and have a "cruise in" at a local Sonic. They're pretty supportive of that sort of thing. Maybe around Alexandria or Watertown. Not too far from me or the Woodbury Sparta bunch. Pop the hoods, bench race, and eat burgers and shakes. Let's work on a date and place. Late Summer/ Fall usualy a good time for such. Maybe an impromptu swap meet as well. Wouldn't be too hard to set up a Ford Truck only car show, and it's easier than looking on the net. Everybody bring a bed full of parts you don't want and trade for ones you need. Let's get serious about doing this. A show wouldn't have to be pristine machines, as long as it's got a blue oval on one end and a bed on the other. Any volunteers for organization?

Well, some were kidding about questioning whether or not White House had the internet--well, I am from a town much smaller than White House ever was-- I am from a little town I doubt many ever dreamed of existing...Red Boiling Springs, TN...in Macon County.

Hey, 64edford, since you live in Franklin, you might wish to get to know Ed King over in Fairview. He loves Fords big time!! He lives to build FE's. See, even being from the miniscule town of Red Boiling Springs, I DO get around...LOL.
Is Franklin still getting so large so fast?
So help me, I remember when much of the land between Harpeth Ford--well, it's Alexander Ford now, isn't it??--and the railroad tracks on TN 96 was still open farm land.
Insofar as that goes, I even remember when highway 96 was two-lane all the way from Fairview to Franklin to Murfreesboro! So help me, I even recall when Mallory Lane was just gravel! (I AM getting too OLD!! LOL)
You have a good one!

At any rate. Williamson County surely has changed a great deal in my lifetime!
Have a good week!
