Ford 9" identfication
i have recently pulled the 9" from under a 77 lincoln mark v parts car that i have bought. i was wondering if anyone could help me decipher the id tag.
it reads as follows:
WGB-AB 7AD
2.50 9 46IA
i know that the 2.50 is the gear ratio, but on the rest i am clueless. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't read the rest of the tag but you have an open rear end and it is more than likely a 28 spline set up. The car housings aren't worth much because one has to cut alot of brackets off in order to use it for anything else other than a car and the 2.50 gear is worthless.
