7.3 PSD dies after a couple of seconds

I have a 2000 F250 with a 7.3 Power Stroke Diesel. It has about 52,0000 miles. The other day I had the oil changed and that day I started having a problem. It runs fine most of the time, but sometimes it just dies. The first time I noticed it was after starting it. It would start, run for a couple of seconds, then just die. After about 3-4 tries, it started and kept running. Then, it did it on the open road once; I shifted to neutral and restarted it. It worked fine after that. It seems like it has done this a couple more times, but tonight, I can not keep it running. It starts ... sometimes harder than others... but only runs for a few seconds at most, and the service engine soon light is on. What up with that? Anybody have any ideas. I appriciate any help ya'll might offer. Damn... can't go anywhere and I just drank a pot of coffee.

Thanks a ton for the feedback guys. I took it to the dealer today and they said it WAS the cam positioning sensor. The computer gave them the error code for it. They also fixed an oil leak. All for $100 since it was still under the 100,000 mi deisel warranty. Woooo Hoooo!

Thanks again guys,
Chris
