I need a serpentine belt tensioner tool for my 92 1/2 7.3 IDI. Since I'm living in Norway, I cant go into any store and buy one. Could anyone tell me how to make one? I have the belt tensioner with the llittle shockabsorber.

just take some flat steel about 1 inch wide and about two feet long and weld a 15 mm socket on to it.just be sure to weld the socket so you get the full throw without hitting on anything.i've used a 3/8 breaker bar and piece of pipe before also.
