I have a '93 Explorer XLT with everything. A little while ago the belt started to squeak. It almost sounds like geese or a seal. Anyways, I've replaced the belt tensioner and the belt, and, while it has improved the overall performance, the squeak is still there. Has anyone else ever gotten this?
I just had this start up on my 94 XLT. My problem sounds like the altinator bearing is starting to fail. Try to pinpoint the problem by trying a few tests.
Does it get louder when you turn?
Does it get louder when the engine revs?
Is the squeak present when idling (not in gear)?
Can you find the general location under the hood where the squeak is coming from?
Another of my high tech solutions.......
Cut a piece of garden hose about 3 ft long, use as a stethoscope....point to exact locations....STAY AWAY FROM THE FAN!. I suspect a bearing.

I also have a high tech state of the art mechanics stethosope/garden hose. Works great. If necessary remove the fan & shroud & take a listen.
Unplug the alternator and see if squeal lets up and /or goes away. Chances are you have a bad bearing in the alt. Replaced mine due to very loud squeal...
