Service wise, i've had nothing but great experiences with Crosstown, for both my F-250 & Thunderbird. Never had a problem, good service, service advisor always kept me up to date (instead of the other way around.)

Now Champion Ford. . .I hate with a vengence! When they used to be Padre Ford, they were ok, but I guess being a mega-auto dealer changes things a bit on the service end!

Thanks Munkey-
The waiting has been pretty tough. I'm pretty lucky though, because the whole process will have taken 4-5weeks. Not bad compared to some orders I've heard of. I'm pretty excited about that moonroof, it's what made me go ahead and order. Not too many out on the lots. Well, that and the sport pkg. I couldn't find any of those on the lots either. At least not in black.
BTW- nice truck you got there. I like the burnout pics.

Lookin,

I would have walked away!! It's so hard to after all this, and the truck is coming next week. . .have you tried any of the other dealers besides Crosstown & Champion? Access Ford (in Calallen I think), Commerical Motors in Aransas Pass, Eddie Yaklin in Kingsville?? I can't speak for any of them, I ordered my truck through Bluebonnet Ford in New Braunfels (uncle & cousin are good friends with a salesman there.)

Did they make you put a deposit down when you ordered your truck?? If it was me, I'd walk on him. He's cheating you!

Think of it this way. . .maybe you can hold out and order a new '05!

Munkey-

I did go to Access, but didn't get as nice a deal as Crosstown offered. I had called Eddie Yaklin, same story, better deal at Crosstown. I did not try Commercial Motors, though. And no, I didn't put down a deposit. Thankfully.

It has crossed my mind to hold out for the '05, but I don't think there'll be any good rebates when they first come out.

I just don't know what I'm going to do at this point. I really want that truck!

Ahhh....no.

It was supposed to be in Monday. Heard today that it is on Quality Control Hold in Detroit. (which is strange, since it was built in kentucky).
I have found another truck out of San Antone that is everything I ordered, and a whole lot more. Plus, its the PSD. A lot more $$$, but I may end up with it. Crosstown cant seem to tell me anything other than they dont know anything about my truck. I'm sick of this whole thing. I've seriously been considering keeping my Z-71 and forgetting about a f250 for now.
