What is the annual salary??? Just kidding, here is an exerpt from Ken's sticky describing the position.
"Chapter Leaders will be able to send invitations to others to join their group, accept new join requests, remove requests, etc. Each group will have it's own Gallery with albums that the leader can manage. Additionally, each group has its own Events Calendar separate from the main Events Calendar. The Chapter Leader will function as a president of sorts, and will be responsible for encouraging growth and activity in his/her section."

The whole idea is not to nominate anyone. Simply because we may waste time nominating someone that isn't interested in doing it, or someone that may want to do it may not have a chance because they may not get a nomination. So, just like any democratic voting situation, the persons interested can 'announce' their candidacy. For the benefit of us that were not a part of the "other" site, these candidates can give a little info on themselves and a few words about what they would like to accomplish in the position. Then a poll can be posted and we can just tick the guy we want, that way, no one has to state in the open whom they voted for. Or maybe even have a tabulator and email your vote to this person, that way, there is no 'box stuffing' by more than one vote per member.
The best way to do it I feel though, is by poll. After the person ticks the candidate of their choice, he remarks in the poll "I voted". That way, if we have 40 votes and only 30 people remark that they have voted, we will assume 10 votes to be uncountable and each candidate will have an equal number of votes deducted until the 10 used as an example are removed.
