I have a 77 f150 ranger and the fuel lines need to be re-done...anyone have a diagram to follow or any help?

 

I generally just bend them as I go, making sure I hit all the stock hangers. I'm not sure if there is a bending diagram for these. You could pull down the old line, lay it out on the driveway, and bend up the new one to match.

 

pretty much all the lines are missing, so im not sure where the lines need to go...if i had pictures from someone elses truck or some kind of diagram, i could make do with that.

also, my gas pedal is all the way to the floor, i unbolted it and it cant be pulled back because the carb is fully closed, this is also not letting me get the throttle open much because the pedal can only be pushed 1/4" lower than it already is...any ideas on what to do?

 

Is it a rod or cable linkage?

I was at a show the other day and saw several modified vehicles with a heavier somewhat stiff rubber? fuel line all the way from the gas tank to the carb. carb engines. These were very professional looking builds. I am wondering what they were using as something like that could work a lot easier on the 55 truck I am putting together??
