are all the trucks made in canada, or just mine?

Mine is, but I live here (Canada). I don't think that they all are cause in the tech section there is a door decoder for a rig made in the states. As for if it is special, I won't touch that with a ten foot pole. I don't want to start any ruckus Most of the decoding is the same, but just laid out differently. Hope this helps.

thanks bchunter, my truck has been part of the "family" since new. it started with Uncle Slim in Utah, then to my Father in Law in California, and now i have it (still in Calif.) i remember my brother used to have a dodge van that originated in Canada and the speedo had large KPH numbers and small MPH numbers. my truck only has MPH.

That is kinda weird if it only has mph. It must have been made in Canada for order to the states. Mine is kph first, then mph. Learn something new every day. I looked in the tech section and the decoder is still there if you need it. Good to see rigs passed through the family. Have fun running it.

I'm Canuck, MyTruck's American
You'll be happy to know that all aren't made by Ford of Canada.
Mine is a '92 F-250 4x4/7.3 N/A
& she is U.S made.
speedo has large MPH & faded KPH on it.
Plus it has plastic front tank & steel rear.
The air intake comes off drivers corner like a vacuum cleaner nozzle/
Other differences for sure but haven't found them all
Thanks for the U.S.A

According to my book the first 3 positions of the VIN state the "world manufacturer identifier". 1FM, 1FT, 1FD, 1FC,1FB are all FoMoCo, USA. 2FM, 2FT, 2FD, 2FC, 2FB are FoMoCo of Canada.
Position 11 in the VIN is assembly plant. C=Ontario Truck, H = Lorain, K= Kansas City, L=Michigan Truck,
N=Norfolk, P= Twin Cities, U= Louisville, V= Kentucky Truck.

so what i'm learning here is that ford trucks are either made in Canada or the U.S.
neither is any better than the other since they are all made within the factory specs.
the reason i brought it up to begin with was because i remebered my brother had troubles up the kazooo getting his Canadian built van smogged in Calif. Canada is in North America so we all drive American made trucks.

Right! go by the VIN, the MPH/KPH means nothing. They can be made in the US for the Canadian market, and vice-versa.
And fine girls are built everywhere, but it's difficult to find a good loyal one that smiles all the time, and likes housework and saving money.

yup my truck was made in Canada, kinda fitting to. It is a 89 F-350 reg cab long box not a dually, dark brown paint(which has as much shine as an old piece of wood), a rusty chrome front winch bumper, rusty grey wheels with stock sized nobby tires that make a lot of noise but do nothing for traction, it does a top speed of 90 km/h(58 m/h), and to top it all off it says MOOSE MACHINE on both the hood and tailgate. I think its perfect.
