mass air flow sensor & K&N generation II

Has anybody tried the Granatelli motor sports mass airflow sensor or the K&N generation II performance kit on their V-10?

I have heard mixed reviews about the V-10 Preformance kit from K&N. I will get one though, it has to help if only a little bit.
