Any local trips/clubs?
Hi all,
Im new to the offroad thing, and was wondering if there are any trips/get togethers/clubs etc in the OC area? I bought a 91 Bronco to take off road, fishing, etc. The best thing would be to find a place where I could do both and take my nephews with me sometime

There's all kinds of stuff and a lot of clubs in your area. Go to www.cal4wheel.com and follow the "Clubs" link. That's the web site for the California Association of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs. Lots of good info there. A lot of clubs focus on Jeeps, but you'll find some that accept all makes.

I like the Holy &^(^! kind at Johnson Valley. I won't be bringing my Ford, though (well, maybe to tow).
It's getting really late in the season for desert wheeling, though. We were in Truckhaven last weekend and it was pretty bad. The winds were horrendous. When it wasn't windy, you could tell summer is coming.Time to start going to Big Bear and Los Coyotes again.
