E350 V10?

I just bought a 98 E350 V10 with 63,000 on it and had a few questions.

So how much of a pain in the a** is it going to be to do general maintenance on this thing? Such as plugs, wires and belt.

Another question involves the coolant. I've seen this on a quite a few vans I've looked at, the resevoir seems to have an orange muck floating around in the bottom. Is this normal or should I flush it out?

Thanks,
Chad

Well you don't have wires...so that's one thing off your list!

Most V10ers are kinda envious of the van guys, like yourself, since changing out the rear plugs is SO much easier on the vans. PLUS! you can be inside it when you do the back ones and not laying over the fender freezin' yer fanny off in a driveway 'cause your butt crack is showin'.

I've seen the muck you are referring to. I just removed the resevoir and hosed it out. Wouldn't hurt to test your coolant while your at it, too.

Thanks Monsta, nice to know it won't be quite as hard as I imagined and I'll check the coolant and flush the resevoir as well.
