Question Exhaust blowing on axle

Today I decided to put a glass pack on my exhaust and I didn't want to put the tail pipe on because I don't like how it looks so I just put a turndown on the end of the glass pack. After I was done, I noticed that the exhaust was parcially (spell) blowing exhaust on the rear axle. So I was wondering if its ok that some of the exhaust is blowing on the axle, or if it will wreck anything?

H ow far is the pipe from the axle? If it's like a 1/2" from it, it might bake some of the oil or burn the seals, my old 83 was the same way and it never bothered the axle. The pipe was about 1/2" from the body so, it was far enough from the axle.

Well the turndown is about 3" ahead of the axle, but the turndown doesn't blow the exhaust straight down, it blows it at an angle. If the turndown pushed the exhaust straight down it wouldn't be a problem.

Its not very loud when crusing and during light acceleration, but when you get on it, then it makes noise. I really like how deep it makes my exhaust sound compared to no muffler.
