dirrfence between windsor small blocks and modular motors
what is the diffrence between these motors . how much will interchange.

Everything is different and very little, if anything, is interchangeable.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

I concur.... 2 completely different engine systems... they just happen to share the Windsor plant in most forms.

Yep, you might find a few bolts that will bolt into a threaded hole from one to the other, but other than that, the only similiarity is that they are built by Ford.

Take the price of a Windsor engine, double it, and you have the price of a Modular engine!
Take the time it takes to diagnose and repair a Windsor, triple it and you have the time it takes to repair a Modular!
