2000 Harley Engine

hi guys, i do not own a harley davidson truck, but my friend does and i want to get him an intake for Christmas, do you guys know if the engine is a 5.4 DOhC engine or something else. cause on Ebay some of them says that: Will not fit on F150/EXPEDITION 5.4L DOHC engine. so i just want to check. Thanks! and also if anyone knows where i can get things for the truck at low prices? THANKS!

To start, I don't think Ford offered the Harley until '01, and when they did I'm pretty sure it was the standard SOHC 2V 5.4. I think the only thing with a DOHC 5.4 is the Navigator.

The Harley motor is the same as any other F-150 5.4 of the same years, except if it's supercharged. It's not a DOHC, it's the same SOHC, they just changed the 5.4 in 2004.

The first harley edition was 2000, with a regular 5.4L 330ci efi engine.

They did start making harley editions in 2000. It was the black flareside. That was when my dad still owned a dealership in Saskatchewan. I was one of the first kids around to sit in one. They were the supercab flaresides. They had the 5.4 SOHC 2 valver. Same engine, yeah and bodystyle as my lariat.
