greenroses -- "4wheelparts.com has them on sale now for $59.99." -- What do you mean!? What do they have ... certainly not an XLT grille with surround!?
wldwilliam, "aftermarket" was probably not the best choice of word(s). What I mean is you can only swap the grille out after you've bought your truck. It's not something you can get switched out during production ... like adding the DVD, etc. Anything done after purchasing the vehicle is (to me) considered aftermarket. But, I realize that most people think of 3rd party accessories suppliers when this term is used. I have pricing from FordPartsNetwork.com on all of the grilles. I have the respective part numbers, etc. If anyone needs it, then they can try to contact me through my profile or figure out how to email me by viewing my gallery.
And finally... I too have a Lariat and want a BLACK XLT grille with black surround.
I'll let you know when my truck arrives, maybe we can make a trade. It shouldn't be too long now. The latest VOPC update states "vehicle shipped by rail".

Remove the grill and have it painted. My neighbor did his and it looks great. I'll take some pics of it today and post them tomorrow.
Painting the one I have would probably be cheaper than buying a new one. I thought about going that route but I prefer the whole style of the FX4 grill to the Lariat unit. I don't care for the honeycomb center section in the Lariat. I prefer the stouter look of the heavier cross pieces in the FX4. Hopefully, we can satisfy two F150 enthusiasts with one trade once my truck hits the ground in Reno. I would still like to see those pics. Thanks.
