Transmission Capacity???

Transmission Capacity???
Just bought a used 350 7.3L, 99 model. How do I find out how many quarts of transmission fluid I'm going to need to buy to change it? Don't wanna pay someone $75 to do what I can do for cost. Any suggestions?

Should be listed in your owner's guide. For the automatic 4R100 with the small cooler (vehicle equipped wiht 20 oil-to-air-plate cooler) it is 17.1 quarts and with the large cooler (vehicle equipped wiht 26 oil-to-air-plate cooler) it is 17.7 quarts. That is striaght out of the manual. Hope that helps.
