Engine Light Comes on Braking

Engine Light Comes on When Braking
Has anyone had the engine light come on when you hit the brakes? Not the check engine light, but the red "Engine" light on the left side of the speedometer.
Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and what could possibly be causing this. This van has done this ever seen we've had it.

Are you just slowing down or are you stopping like there is a wreck in front of you? If it like a wreck in front of you the oil could be low and getting away from sump pipe. Other wise I have never heard of it.

I don't know if this van has an engine swap, but I don't believe so. The engine is a really good engine, it's strong and has alot of power.
I'm just slowing down really, not stopping real fast. It's mainly just when your just about stopped all the way and you mash the brakes down almost to the floor.
