Tire Pressure
I have a 2003 Expedition with P265/70/17R tires on it. The book calls for 35psi on all four. Just got a heck of a deal on some LT265/70/17R that call out up to 80psi on the tires. Bought the tires to help pull a trailer to Canada. Would 50psi on all tires be ok or is that too much.
The trailer is around 5600# GVWR so there won't be any pulling or stopping problem. I know the stiffer tires will ride a lot harder but out on the roads pulling a trailer you need all the safety you can get.
The purchased tires were Michelins.
