Those Mopar guys are out there...especially since the Cummings is now rated at 325hp and 600 foot pounds of torque. Ford needs to answer and answer BIG. But at the same time...doing it right!

Hay you guy's

Don't worry About that new engine in the dodge ram, It seems that thy can't get the torque to the ground with the tranny, and thy are having some program problems with the engine already

Check out some Cummings 600 forums.

Besides that I would rather be stroked than ramed

Who gives a $#!%.
From reading through his posts, Shendren is always looking for something to run down a Ford.
My F250 runs great and does everything I bought it for.
I have more comfort and nearly as much room in the back of my supercab as my nephew has in his 2004 Dodge Quad Cab. The jury is still out on the longevity of his 6 speed behind the Cummins.

offended?

Dont quite understand the post. Are you offended he asked? You listed known problems right below that so I assume you and he were on the same page. Does your 04 have any of the problems listed?

Wouldn't know. Haven't had any problems like that with mine.

Only problem with mine is I can't find enough excuses to drive it. I have enjoyed this truck as much as any I've had.

May I??
'03 6.0 owner here, built 1-24-03.

rear seal leaking

NOPE (it did have a stain, cleaned off, still clean)

tranny problems with the reflash

Has original factory flash / NO tranny probs.

wire chaffing

NONE

radiator hoses busting open

NEVER

idling very rough

NEVER (smooth starts even @-16, never been plugged in)

klunking sound in the front end

NOPE

fuel in the oil

NOPE

injectors flaking out

NOPE - all original c94's

the great mileage

YOU BET!! 20mpg (hand calculated through several tankfulls)

Actually, I like all the brands of cars and trucks, there is something neat in every one of them, and on that same note, there is something that goes wrong with each one of them as well. I just like Fords best, I look at 'em all, then I buy the FORD.

shendren - exactly what I thought.
I just got caught up in the moment, I meant it to be directed at the Dodge guy, not anything else.
