"Also, I could care less if there was music, all I need is the sound of the motor."

Best part of a decent car audio system ............

it absolutely cures loose interior panels, rattling window harware, wind noise, tire noise, ticking lifters, loose shocks, headers, gripin women and such.

And a handy adjustment **** for those times you want to hear some flowmaster bass instead.

Hi all,

With the economy being what it is, and the family's need for cash flow, here is a SHAMELESS PLUG.

If anyone needs stereo equip: stereos, CD players, amps, speakers etc; please drop me an email and let me have a shot at supplying your needs. I have access to a wholesaler here in Phoenix and usually do a cost + 10% + shipping for my friends.
This way everyone benefits.

don't have access to all brands, but those I do have are good.

Thanks for allowing my SHAMELESS PLUG

OK, that's a kind offer Steve. Lets take this for a test flight. Retail mark up on this stuff is nuts. Try to get a price for any of the following popular items. Substitute model number for another popular item if needed. Don't want to make this a pain for you, a couple quotes would suffice.

Alpine 6x9 Type R speakers.

Rockford Fosgate AMP, Model RF301S

Alpine CD Player model CDA 9815 or 9811

This part is tougher. Can you get any of the following "top shelf" boutique brands? Elemental Designs, Adire, JL Audio, Avionixx, Resonant Engineering, Memphis, US Amps, TRU Amps, Eclipse?

And will the factory warranty be honored? Audio manufacturers have strict rules about buying from non-authorized dealers. Intenet sales are realy making the authorized dealers mad. They track it by SN in some case and manufacturer won't even service it if you offer to pay for repair. I buy stuff from online shops for 25-60% off Best Buy etc price, and usually lose my manufacturers warranty, and sometimes don't even get a warranty from the online shop so I buy local when it's a high fail item like a CD player.

Thanks

They were done by the welder at work.

fenders,

haven't forgot about you guys. Can't lay my hands on Alpine or rockford.

I have access to brands like:
Pyle
PowerAcustik
Audiovox if you want it
Road Thunder by MTX
Dual
Ultra linear marine stuff

Also, keyless entry & alarm items by Gargoyle.
$10 power relay & $6 socket fitting I can let go for $6.50 plus shipping.

Now before I get zapped by the moderator, I'm going to move a similar post over to the classifieds area. The answer to the web site question is -- it's coming. Right now I'm using eBay and just getting up to speed. I'm a rusty old cobol programmer who is self training in HTML & web design. If biz is good, I may be able to stay retired! If not, I need to find a real job for a few more years.

all the best,
steve
