Insurance Rates
There are SO MANY variables when it comes to insurance that I think you will need to talk to someone locally. In their office.

yeah talking to your agent is probably the best. You might also look into Credit Unions, some of them sell insurance and their rates are very good and they can shop more than one company.
Edmunds automotive website http://www.edmunds.com/ usually has comments about insurance costs for each vehicle they talk about. They won't tell you dollars, but they will say average, more than average etc. They also will tell you the value of a car and often will have useful commentary about the model and owner ratings.
Good Luck,

There are 3 factors that can help you make a decision.
#1. Is the vehicle in anyway looked at as being a sporty or high performance car?
#2. Is it an expensive car?
#3. Is it prone to theft?
If you answered yes to any of the above, the rate just went up.
Now, for the really insane question. How is your credit? For some really idiotic reason, insurance companies have decided that people with poor credit are worse drivers than people with good credit. If I were you, that is the first question I would ask of a company. Ask if they consider your credit history. Then, to help eliminate this totally absurd practice, do not do business with any company that uses credit score for insurance.
My opinion, but I hope it helps.

Not to defend insurance companies, but the "insane" reason of relating credit history to driving risk, is because the relationship exists. Still, I have heard there will be legislation/regulation to stop this practice.
You should call some of the insurance companies that sell by phone and get a quote. Won't cost you anything.
