I'm not sure if this has been mentioned here before so I thought I'd mention it.

Yesterday, I took my SD to the dealer for an oil change and inspection sticker. Finally after two hours they said it was done. I was about to give them a piece of my mind for taking so long when he said they took care of the seat belt buckle recall while they had it. They replaced every buckle, front and back, in the truck. The invoice says it's recall # 01S21.

You are right it was 01S21, but the recall is only for front row seats,not including the center if you have a bench.Dealer must be afraid of lawsuits,well at least you got all new seat belts.

Heck, I still haven't gotten the windshield wiper recall done yet

The recall applies to certain 01'model year vehicles an OASIS must be run on the vehicle to see if it needs the recall done.

I just got my '01 SD back from the dealer. I was being lazy about responding to the recall notice I got, but after reading this thread (and another one about SD's performance in collisions), it prompted me to take it in. They had the truck a half day and ultimately didn't replace anything. According to the service rep, they perform a "stress test" and if it passes, there's no need to replace anything.

I got to wondering if the "stress test" was to strap in a 375 pounder and let him take the truck out and mash the whoa-pedal from about 70mph. :P

Anyway, if you got a '01, bring in it and let 'em check it out. It's not worth your life to find out if yours are good in a wreck.
