Ive got a couple questions about my 2001 super duty. First im wondering about Seat covers. I want a quality set of covers...but at an affordable price. Any ideas or places to look? Second im wondering what i have for options on power upgrades. I have the v-10 in it, and it has plenty of power for the towing i do...But a little more wouldnt hurt. What can i do that is relatively simple such as bolt on mods? Last is the Tailgate handle. I have to really pull on it hard to get the gate to open. its got the long bed and all. im wondering if any else has had this problem? any ideas how to fix it? thanks, ryan
I have had the tailgate probem. Lube both sode of the latching mechanism. I use a spray lubricant and treat this as a mantinance item. Every time I change the oil I go spray the latching mechanisms on the tailgate. I tried using grease but, I occassionally haul a few yards of dirt or mulch, so it gets gummed up real bad. YMMV

My suggestion is to do a web search for a brand called "wet okole". They are made in Hawaii. They are waterproof & as strong as heck. See if they got any designs you like. They should last as long as your truck.
BTW, okole means "butt" in Hawaiian. Pronounced - O-KO-LEE...
Seat covers, go to www.custom-seatcovers.com. They have a very good selection, quality, and price.
Performance, CHIP IT!! The price of high octane is worth every penny when you mash the gas. And with an automatic, it will improve shifting.
