Storage of the hard top...

Being that it is starting to get nice around here, I am wondering how you all store the top when going topless......

I plan on taking mine off in the summer as well, but I am limited on room. I think I will suspend mine from the garage ceiling using rope and some hook anchors so that I can still use the room. Then I can just back my Bronco in under it for parking. That would also make it easier to put it back on by myself; I could lower it onto the bronco.

If you hang your top from the ceiling, you might want too put a couple 2x4s under it and tiethe ropes too the board, that way you don't spread the sides.

Great info. The tire thing will work great for now. I am looking at the trick of hanging it when I get the garage re-arranged. I will use a small boat winch to lift it and have it designed to back onto the lift mechanism and unbolt the top and remove it. Then add a safety cable to the front side of the bars that suspend it.

Thanks for the input.

That's a great point. I hadn't thought of that. It would actually make it much easier to do. Thanks
