I have a damaged condenser that I would like to swap out myself. Could I just plug it out of that tubing its hooked up to, on the top?
Or would I have to get the r134a evacuated first?
BTW, it seems like the standard a/c condenser (f-250sd 2001) is a POS that a small rock could punch a hole right through. The one I got as a replacement from 4autobodyparts.com is much more 'super duty'. True piping.
Maybe I'm not understanding you correctly, but if the condenser has been damaged to the point of replacing it I would think the R134A would have already leaked out? I would suggest replacing the accumlator with the condensor since the system has been open to the air for awhile.
