Odd noise coming from motor

I had a loud belt when it was wet or first thing in the morning. So I changed it today. After changing the belt there is a noise coming from the motor that makes it sound like a jet engine. The tone of this noise varies with engine rpm.

Only thing I can think of is either

A) going from a ribbed belt to a belt that kinda looks like its got teeth, the different belt makes the noise?

B) my old belt has been slipping all along and what I'm hearing now is the supercharger. But what gets that idea is before I changed the belt it seemed to work fine, I couldnt hear the blower at all until I got on it, then it was loud.

I dont see how it could be an accesory going out since it only made the sound after I changed the belt.

Any ideas? It supposed to make this sound?

It's difficult to diagnose a sound.

Can you post a clip of it?

Dont really have the knowledge to. It basically reminds me of a centrifugal blower how they make that sound even at idle.
