Flashes
Can someone please explain these "flashes" I know what they are but should I have one. No one seems happy with it. Is this like a recall?? What is it supposed to fix..
Had my 04 F250 6.0 for about a week, it was a Demo and has 6,000 on it.... All I have noticed in mine is a type of surging while travelling at constant speeds and it seems to miss while cruise is set especially on steep grades.... Anyone had these problems...

Depending on the year engine you have depends on what flashes there are. I think these are for 03's I don't know what is available for 04's.
If you are getting good performance and just have a little naggy problem, don't flash it until after the next flash is out. There should be a new one coming out any time now.
But reading your issues, I would take it to the service department and have them check it out.

I'd suggest looking at the work history for the truck.
