Talking New 2006 F-350 V-10

I picked up my new F-350 on Thursday. It is beautiful and purrs like a kitten. I was afraid with the camper package it might be a little too stiff when not towing my fifth wheel but so far she is pretty smooth. After reading on the forums about diesel vs. V-10 and talking to friends I am very content with my decision to buy the V-10. I will not be putting over 12M miles per year on her and for our four or five fifth wheel camping trips a year that are in or around California it will be a perfect fit for my needs.

Congratulations! Glad to hear that the camper package doesn't make the ride too rough. Did you get a 4x2 or 4x4?

CalPoke, picking up any new vehicle is exciting, but when it is a new SD Ford with the
supercalafridgealistic ( not sure if Mary Poppins spells it that way ) Triton 6.8 V10 engine
well that is about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on . Take care and best of luck with that new Ford V10 and try to keep that BSEG off your face...impossible

I got my F350 CC V10 this summer. It plain rocks and will stand up to anything. Enjoy your purchase!!! You are the envy of all your friends - even if they don't admit it in a crowd!!

Congratulations on your new member of the family! At 12K miles per year, that truck will be reliable for at least two decades as a tow vehicle.
