Question Grease Question

I'm finally putting my engine ('85 2.8L V6) back together and i'm wondering which lubricant would be better to use. I dont want to buy any new stuff so I have two to choose from. there is
A) White, Lithium based grease
or
B) Black, Oil based, Bearing grease.
that you for any help

This Ronex MP is a high end product with a decent price. I've been using it without a complaint yet. Its a lithium complex.

Are you talking about just for engine assembly?? You'd definitely want to use a different product for engines than you would for wheel bearings and front end parts.

I believe white lithium grease is only indicated for cam shaft lobes if you don't have cam lube. Otherwise I have seen where 30 wt oil is used for the bearings.

I assume you are doing an initial fill with cheap oil and drain it after a short time. I just use SAE 30 as an assembly lube today, but I used to do what you are doing with whatever grease I had on hand.
