Just wondering:
Having an open dif in the front and rear would actually be 1x4 in 2wd and 2x4 in 4wd, Correct? Anyone know where i can get a ls or a locker for my rear 8.8" Want cheap but reliable.

if you have a np203 (or other full-time Tase with a open dif in it) and open difs at the axles, Yes it is possible to have 1 wheel drive.
thats why a NP203 has Lock positions in high and low. to lock the transfer case and send power to the front and rear evenly.
it is NOT possible to have 1 wheel drive with a part-time transfer case.
