Go to this thread, read completely…. Follow, on page 3..MLF250’s format, it is good…and easy! and post. Important update to instructions on page 6.
Most important part of this data...also, there “is” owners out there that have had no problems. To be fare to my methodology… I need the same from the “no problem” owners.. i.e. mileage (mileage is the odometer reading)
important a “no problem” statement if you have had none.

ODOMETER reading at time of problem is critical.
In addition, please read more instructions, bottom of first page, posted by Tim L
The simpler the writing (posting) of “problem/odometer” reading………….the easier it will be to collate.
Do not need many words, NO stories.
I must reduce all the date into a usable format; extra words will take more time to complete.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...hreadid=185570

I implore all 6.0 owners to please take the time

Thanks
Tim

I just returned from a 2,277.7 mile round trip from the Houston area to Crested Butte Colorado and I got 18.32 miles per gallon. I was haulling just under 1000lbs of cargo and 4 220+lbs adults. Cruising about 80-85 mph, except going over the passes in the mountains which is full of 6% grades.

Hi Tim,

Just filled in my data. I HAVE had my share of problems with this truck, but everything seems to be working perfectly since re-flash in mid-January.

I got 14 MPG out of my first tank of fuel that was pretty much a 50/50 mix of highway and city driving.

I guess my overhead fuel calculator must be messed or I just got lucky. Never manually checked it myself.....never felt the need with this Ford quality.
18-18.5 city/ 20-21.5 hiwy 8000 miles on truck and never had any problems YET.......no updated flashes, excellent running truck!
15.5 mpg pulling 32' camper 9000#

The overhead onboard mileage calucator is not all that accurate. Do it manually over a few times to find out what it really is.

If you have it handy can you post it here? I'm sure others will be able to use it also (myself included!)
