Hi all, I just recently purchased a '79 Ranchero from California. It has a 351M and the trans code on the doorjam placard is "X" everyone tells me it should be a C6 since it is a 335 series block. The haynes auto tran book says they were produced that year with a C4. What does "X" denote? thank for any help.
