I found a 94 F350 Crew Cab IDI for $3000.00 looks like water in the oil. My friend just rolled his 99 F350, it's totaled. How much greef would it be to put the 99 ps in the 94.

 

The electrical part of it would be a pain. The Psd is completly computer controled so all the electrical would have to come with it. I also am not sure if the slightly different design of the 99 and up psd would fit very easily in the old body style. Lots of work!! I guess I'm just too lazy for that kinda project.

 

the only thing these 2 engines have in common is the 7.3, and that was by luck

 

If you got the time and energy, go for it! I have a friend who was told that a Cat. motor wouldn't fit in his truck. Been driving it for three years now.
