Drifting problems
Ok I am buying a 78 bronco and it has a swaying problem it drifts. I had a 79 that had this same problem and replaced the track bar this solved the problem or at least I think it was the track bar I replaced. The original owner says he ahe hadt the bearing and new lock out tire rod end and gearbox all replaced within the last year.

ball joints are a good sign of a drifting problem jack up the front and grab the tire at 12:00 and 6:00 position and see if it moves if you have play there its ball joints if you move the tire at 3 and 9 oclock position its wheel bearings out of adjustment or needing replacement. the only thing left is the drag link. a good front end shop can tell you what is up also.
