BFG MT's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i lov'em. very quiet, smooth as a baby's butt. unbelivably road friendly. good in snow, crap in ice, but nothing is good on ice. havent gotton to mud or sand yet. pro comps are a knock off, not as good as bfg.

I think BFG's are overrated but the Pro Comps suck (yes i had a set). but b/t the 2 i would say BFG's! Try General Grabber...I hear they work real good! Also check out Super Swamper Thornbirds...just all-terrains with giant lugs!

Of the two choices you listed, easily the bfgs. And yes, they are overated.

I know this wasn't a choice, but I have to throw them out there. The Kumho Venture MT is probably my favorite tire. They're cheap (33-12.50/15's are $101 each), quiet on the road, are just as good in the mud as on the rocks, all and all a really good tire. The only thing I have against them is they have kind of a thin sidewall (but i haven't busted one yet). At about 12 psi these things will wrap around anything, anything less and you start losing the bead. I really wanna try a set in the single digits, but don't have beadlocks (maybe eventually). Try looking them up, they're worth a consideration.

The bfg is overated. A really good trail type tire. But jsut when the rubber meets the mud. Not so great. It is a good tire for anyone who needs more than an all terrain but less than a swamper

i have to second that. i am getting a set of 35" for them, from what i have heard they are pretty good tires at a great price.

You just like to say "Kumho" whenever some hot chick on the trail asks you what your running. Or is that just my warped brain twisting the pronunciation?
