Hello I have a Lincoln town Car mine was flashing 3 times then6 code 36 under the seat there is a yellow plug with two wires those are for air bag mine had a broken wire (broken internally) from the seat moving back and forth (electric seats) it was broken about 4 inches from where it comes out of the carpet. if this does not help disconnect the battery both + and - for about 5 min. I hope I was of some help.

Ford vehicles

perhaps it is not the same vehicle, but if equiped with power seats that same yellow plug will be under the seat and it is for air bags, and that is also why I said that my car is a lincoln and that it might be of help, looking at those wires is up to you. we are here to try to help each other if we can without name calling..
