Where to camp in alberta ?

Hello Albertans, Maybe you guy's can help me out here.
I am making the big trip to drumheller from vancouver (the bummer is I'm not taking my own truuck, with my wife, kids, parents and mother-in-law there are 8 of us have to rent a motor home)
Now I know B.C very well when it come to provincial camp-sites but on your side of the border I'm lost.
My plan was to take the #1 to calagary and down to drumheller and then the #3 back home.
So ineed some help finding some real nice camp sites on the route there and home.
I,m not into the real commercial / popular campsites more into the wilderness/ prestine quiet ones.
Thanks for the input .
Regards, Domenico....

Where did you intend to camp in BC just before the day you plan to travel into Alberta ?
This makes a difference.

The closest campground to the Alberta Border is the
*Yoho National Park Campground* at Field.

We really don't have anything you are talking about on HWY #1.
You will have to go down Hwy# 66 ( Kananaskis) or Hwy #22 through Bragg Creek ( Kananaskis ).

Did you Plan to go right into Calgary or get close to it ?

Hwy #22 goes right to #3 just East of Coleman AB.

Answer these Q's & I'll get back to you.
