I'm wanting to go to school to be a cert. Ford (or Gm if I can't get on at ford) Technician. I've been accepted into the school that has the program and all that good stuff but what I lack is a job at a dealership. A job at a Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury dealership (or GM if your in that program) is required. Since I turn 18 Jan. 31 it's time to start looking! I am not looking for a job hand out or anything of that sort, just contacts who can tell me who I need to talk to at their dealership (service manager and such). So if you work at a DFW area Ford or GM dealer PLEASE let me know! I'd really appreciate it as this has been my goal for a long time.

Nick, try Town East they are usually good at bringing in the newbies. My son worked there for a spell way back when and they seemed ok.

I worked in the service dept there for a year as Quality Control. nice place.

 

It would also be nice to find out who works at dealers for purposes of obtaining parts at reasonable prices. If you work at a dealer, speak up!
