Just got back from the dealer and they handed me a price for
a 04 F250 crew/c 4x4 lariat 6.0 diesel and 5 speed auto with a sun roof 38,100 with rebates of 1500 on the 250 and a 1000 for owner loyalty
he says this is at invoice plus the rebates am i crazy not to take it ?
waiting on a trade in value he was trying to get from my 01 4x4 xlt super crew
have talked to a few other dealers on the net throwing me prices close to this but "nobody has the truck i want on thier lot they will have to get it from the dealer down the street" but they did give me the stickers and vin numbers for the trucks they quoted
Sorry it took so long to respond, but I'm afraid you're right- that's no deal. If you can tell me the exact MSRP, or the exact list of equipment, I can tell you what you should be paying.
Thanks for the response the msrp is 45.815, invoice they said is 40,420+ TTT will take off 1500 for F250 rebate 1000 for coming out of a lease and buying another ford so about 37,920 ish +TTT they aren't happy im shopping them and the dealer down the street but people make me bid against my competitors
thanks for the info email me if ya need new to the forums I have the vin number
I have to retract what I said earlier- this is a good deal. Invoice is indeed what they say it is, and they're giving you $500 more than they should in rebates. Rebate on the PSD is $1000, not $1500, unless it's different in your area (it is $1500 on gas engines, so maybe they quoted the wrong rebate). If they'll still honor this price, I'd go for it. But be preared for the "we made a mistake" take-back on the rebate. If you give me your ZIP code, I can confirm whether or not you qualify for $1500. Might be nice to know that before you go back to them, right?
im glad to hear it is a good deal i saw the rebate goof also but i was going to let them squirm because i have it in writing/email
but they dont want to give me a otd price as i already have the cash(outside lender) to buy it , im worried they are going to try to play games with the TTT and they really dont want to deal with a trade in as im not going to "give it to them" if ya need any other info plz let me know
Thanks for the info i hope the rebates get better in the next few days as id like to buy in the next 2 weeks if less
Anytime anyone wants to know invoice and available incentives (for the most part), just go to kbb.com and build the truck with the same options that any given truck has.
THEN go to the dealer (I'd STRONGLY suggest the internet dept. if possible to save a ton of hassle) with an offer below invoice, armed with the info. You can do it!
Keepin' it real,
