My truck is an F-350 crew cab, long bed, 4x4, 6.0L PSD, quad leather captains chairs, and many more bells and whistles. I have the VIN but no ETA as of this post. The dealer said maybe the week of the 9th, but the week of the 15th is a sure bet. I can't wait!
You got that right SINJIN I had to go to the 4.10 to get the limited slip but last year they offered the 373 with limited slip in the F350 dully with the auto trans was what I under stood I wanted the 3.73 oh well whats 2miles to the gallon
This happened to me when I ordered a 2000 PSD Crew cab lariat.
I ordered in March of 2000. First they said six weeks, then 3 months, and, oh, by the way, it will be a 2001, so it will be 5% higher! I had them locate a truck that was only 90 miles away. It didn't have the limited slip rear, but had off road package, which I did not want and they charged me more for less.
Oh well, I bought it anyway.
Live and learn
I ordered an F350 SC SB V10 6spd with 4.30 gears on January 5. The scheduled build completion date is Feb 2. Not sure how long after that it takes to get to the dealership. Anyone have any idea about that?
I am surprised at the length of time you had to wait. I ordered a custom F-250 Super Duty Lariat short bed 4x4 on 12/9. The dealer said it would be ready toward the end of Feb. 2004. I just picked it up tonight (90 minutes ago) <GRIN>, and today is Jan. 29th. - a full month sooner than expected.
Hope your dealer is able to provide you with an explanation for the length of order time in your case.
I ordered my new truck about 12/18/03 and my son told me about 4 to 6 week as he is the sales manager there. I would real be mad if he BS his old man I would have to take him to the wood sheld I better not do that it may hurt me more then him
Jeez, reading all success stories from you guys was definitely making me nervous about my slow truck. So, I just called my dealer and learned that next week it starts its way down the assembly line.
Perhaps I'll be driving my F250 Lariat CC by the end of Feb !!
