brush/grill guard

im seriously thinkin about makin my own brush/grill guard fer my super duty. im thinkin maybe stainless steel and then polishing it. or possibly steel and get it powder coated white. i know that would be alot easier then polishing it. but my main question was how to mount it on my truck. ive never seen one mounted before. im thinkin about takin off the tow loops and mountin it there. what do ye'all think? any info would be great.

Most of the ones I've seen use the bumper mounting bolts.
