If some body don't like that,go to Dodge forum. They are a big funs of Cummins but don't think they are happy with Dodge truck itself.Don't get me wrong I like Cummins, but! whats wrong with the Powerstroke?

2.Its enough power to do a job like Cummins.
3.Maybe you find it in 6.0 but not 6.4.
"Were you drunk when you posted last?" - Sorry, don't understand you here.

Your thought process seemed a little erratic, like a drunk persons would be. But I'm thinking thats just how you post... anyway-
The 6.4 gets HORRIBLE mileage, my dad bought an '09 F350 6.4 auto dually and is lucky to get 10 MPG loaded and 13 empty. My '08 CTD auto 3500 dually gets a shade under 16 empty and around 12 loaded (and by loaded I mean somewhere between 14-18K).
The PSD (6.0 and 6.4) have adequate power but have to rev so high to get a heavy load moving its not even funny. I would think that the constant high RPM's would be a lot of the reason the 6.0 had so many injector problems (mine had a s#itload) and why the 6.4 has so many turbo problems.
I wish they had never gotten rid of the 7.3

I've driven Dodges and Fords since 1993 when I bought my '93 Dodge 3500 CTD auto. Over the last 16 years I've actually lost more trannies in my Fords than I have my Dodges. The only time I've ever had a Dodge body fall apart around the CTD was a '98 2500 5 speed 4X4 I had. The truck still ran great but the body was shelled, it had 290K miles on it, and they were hard miles.
The CTD does (and always has) outperformed the PSD so bad its not even funny, but Ford keeps the rest of their truck well ahead of Dodge so its kind of a toss up IMO. I use my trucks to pull heavy loads often so the choice to go with the CTD is a no brainer, I had an '07 6.0 PSD and it was the worst truck I've ever owned, couldnt pull for crap, got bad mileage and went thru injectors every 10K. While I'm a big fan of the Ford V10 IDK if I will ever own another Ford Diesel again... unless they somehow land the CTD.

I have a 93 Cummins in my 48 Ford car hauler and an 02 7.3 Powerstroke in my pickup. I don't really want to keep a peeing match going here because I love both of them. However, that being said, I have never had a cam sensor leave me stranded with my 5.9 , and a set of injectors for a 5.9 doesnt cost 2,500.00 either. My 5.9 is a tough workhorse that is cheaper to operate than a 7.3, but I do like my 7.3 too. It really just boils down to personal preference. They are both very good pieces of equipment. Now the 6.0 PSD however is not something I plan to purchase.

YouTube - Super Modified Diesels in Idaho Falls
736 cubic inches vs. 360 cubic inches. Detroits sound really cool, but they're just big chainsaw motors when you think about it. I'm not a Dodge truck fan, but I do love the Cummins diesels they put in them.
p.s. The '91 Cummins in my Bronco has all stock parts on it other than exhaust, fuel pin, governor spring. I advanced the timing and turned up the fuel screw. I'm available to race if you want to give it a whirl, it's just a stock 360 inch Cummins, afterall.
p.s.s. I do like the early 6.9/7.3 motors, I have nothing bad to say about those beasties, I just prefer the early 12V Cummins. Unlike Duramax, which I freely insult any chance I get.

I think that most people here would agree that the 12 CTD sounds pretty stellar strait piped but I do know of ONE diesel that rocks the CTD's world. My cousin had a '92 Ford F-350 dually 7.3 IDI 5 Speed. It had headers with 5" pipe into 8" tips and it sounded better (IMO) than most V8 setups. I really cant describe it with words other than saying it was the kind of sound that would give you a hard on and bring a tear to your eye at the same time (wrap that around your head if you will).

i would say that the main problem with the cummins is the truck it's put into, the dodge heavy-duty pick-ups. I've personally known more dodge pick-ups with problems than i did with ford pick-ups. why do you think Ford continues to outsell the competition in the fullsize truck market? the Super duty is really a through and through heavy hauler and tough truck. I've always been a Ford guy, my dad is Ford guy, his dad and my mom's dad are Ford guys and they'll tell you why they like Ford trucks. hell my brother worked for different mines in Nevada, and he says that all they used for work trucks were Fords becuase they knew that they were the best, he's not even that much of a Ford guy, but he gives credit where it is due, he even says that the people he worked with didn't even like Fords but they pretty much all said that they wouldn't use anything else to haul stuff. Dodges really only have one heavy duty built thing in their truck, the cummins, otherwise they are just luxury trucks with nice seats and chrome and power, same with Chevy pick-ups, they got power and the duramax, and luxury but nothing really much else, they are alot of fluff. Furthermore, Ford doesnt make a medium duty frame and front end and call the truck a superduty, but Dodge and Chevy both build a heavy duty pickup around a medium duty frame and front-end.
