I'm a truck accessory dealer and have a customer looking for performance in his 4.6??????????? Does anyone know of an available chip and throttle body spacer. All I can find is a damn air filter. Thanks B

Just about everybody on this site has the 5.4L, 3-Valve, Triton V8s in their trucks.....

I know this is Monday morning quarterbacking......but I think that maybe your customer should have bought the 5.4L V8 instead of the 4.6L V8.

 

From what i've heard the 4.6 in the '04 isn't much different from the '03. If this is true many of the performance parts that are used in the old 4.6 should work. I doubt the computer system is the same so the chip is out of the picture but the throttle body spacer ect. may work.

 

Not everyone has the 5.4 motor.....

Try http://www.motorhaven.com On the side you will see diablo and superchips have some stuff for 04's and the 4.6 motors not sure if it will work but they look like two top chip makers.

Don't forget to change the exhaust to make it breath.

How many miles on the 4.6 I know mine keeps getting stronger as I ad miles 2760 right now.
