Question Timing help needed

I got my 360 to spark after installing new everything for the ignition. Now it spits/back fires out the carb or back fires out the tail pipe when I try to start it.

Is this what happens when I'm 180 degrees off the target??

What else could cause this??

You could be 180 out for sure. What does the light say? If the light says its good re-check the firing order. That seems to sound more like it. Glad you are making progress anyway.
